Scholarship resources:

We will be posting new scholarships as they present themselves throughout the year.  Please let us know if you find something to add to this list! Scroll to the very end.  There is a ton of money out there to support ENGRing students.  If you don't have a scholarship, you have not filled out enough applications!

Thank you to Toul for creating the below webpage filled with scholarships that our LSC ENGRing students have had success getting!

Fwd:Good Morning,
Texas A&M University-Texarkana offers a Global Heritage Scholarship to newly admitted international students with an incoming GPA of at least a 2.5  This is a scholarship in the amount of up to $1625.  Having a scholarship over $1000 allows an international student’s non-resident tuition to be replaced with the affordable in-state tuition.
We have a STEM college that has electrical engineering, computer science, kinesiology, biology, biotechnology, math, and nursing programs.  We also have teacher certification programs that go along with biology, math, and kinesiology.  We will be introducing biomedical engineering and a graduate program in electrical engineering soon.
I would love to see more international students from the various community colleges in Texas take advantage of the opportunities at TAMUT.  Does your campus have very many international students that are nearing the completion of their associate’s degrees that would be interested in learning more about TAMUT?
Best,
         Jennifer Felps

Good Morning,

I wanted to personally reach out and pass along this amazing new program for young women, the Brooke Owens Fellowship.  It is designed to serve as an inspiration and career opportunity for capable young women who aspire to explore and innovate in the aerospace community, and was created in honor of the legacy of Dawn Brooke Owens (1980 - 2016).

Those who apply and are awarded the fellowship will receive a paid summer internship and will be matched with specific job openings at aerospace and aviation organizations.  Prior to the beginning of their internship, each fellow will also be connected with two experienced aerospace industry mentors: one at their host company and another mentor elsewhere in the industry.

Below is the website to provide further information, and to be shared amongst faculty and students.

If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Warm regards,

Ashley E. Hollis-Bussey
