TSI Placement testing:
Use the compass test.
"All students, unless considered TSI Exempt, must take the TSI assessment prior to enrolling in classes. Students scoring below the placement test standards are required to enroll in developmental courses which do not apply towards a degree or certificate."

To take the TSI, just go to the testing center on the 2nd floor of the SCC building.  No appointment necessary, it costs ~$20, just walk in and tell them you need to take the TSI math test!

Notes from our guest speaker -
I'd like you to see a couple of links that address getting started and applications for Mathematica in and outside of its typical applications in math and physics. You can also see the use of free-form input and predictive interface among other innovative aspects of Mathematica:

As I mentioned at my talk, I am supplying you with a link to download the Mathematica notebook I used in the talk along with the supplemental notebooks with sample quizzes, etc. This is a zipped file so will have to be unzipped to access.:
https://download.wolfram.com/?key=R7TE5KIt requires Mathematica to open.  If you don't currently have access to the software, you can download a trial here:
